Description

Family Best Care is hiring a reliable in home caregiver for an ongoing client assignment in Bellevue, WA 98007. This position supports clients in a senior living setting and is a good fit for a caregiver who is dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable providing hands on personal care, mobility support, companionship, and routine based care.

This assignment includes consistent ongoing shifts with the same client household. Caregivers must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow the care plan closely.


Schedule

  • Tuesday: 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
  • Tuesday: 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM
  • Saturday: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Sunday: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
​​Applicants who are available for all listed shifts are strongly preferred. At minimum, applicants must be available for at least two of the listed shifts on an ongoing weekly basis.

This is an ongoing assignment with consistent weekly shifts. Applicants should carefully consider commute time, reliability, and schedule consistency before applying.


Pay and Benefits

  • $27.00 per hour
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x when applicable
  • Holiday pay for company recognized holidays when applicable
  • Health insurance available for caregivers who consistently work 35 or more hours per week

What You Will Do

  • Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, hygiene, toileting support, and personal care
  • Provide safe mobility support, standby assistance, and fall prevention
  • Support safe showering and bathing routines according to the care plan
  • Assist with meals, hydration reminders, and dining routine support
  • Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement
  • Encourage participation in appropriate daily routines and activities
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the client’s care
  • Support laundry, organization, and basic household tidiness as assigned
  • Follow the care plan and established client routines
  • Complete accurate documentation and care notes
  • Communicate changes, concerns, or safety issues to the Family Best Care office promptly

  • Experienced with personal care and mobility support
  • Able to follow detailed care instructions
  • Calm, respectful, and patient
  • Attentive to fall prevention and client safety
  • Comfortable supporting clients with daily routines
  • Professional in communication with office staff, facility staff, and family contacts
  • Able to document care accurately and promptly
 

Requirements

  • Active Washington State HCA, CNA, or NAC credential preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current TB test or screening
  • Current Washington State Food Worker Card
  • Valid government issued photo identification
  • Reliable transportation
  • Reliable phone access for work related communication
  • Ability to complete all onboarding requirements if selected
  • Availability for one or more listed shifts
  • Comfort providing personal care, mobility support, and routine based care
